In an earlier post, I mentioned that my picking journey began with finding things I loved—and how some of those treasures have wound up in my own home. The word "some" may have been an understatement. The reality is that much of my home is filled with finds from auctioning, picking, and traveling. Sometimes they stay for the long term, and other times they're replaced with a newly acquired treasure. It's a moving target here at Favretto Farm.
When we're out picking, I'll look at something and immediately envision where it will go, making sure it will fit in the spot (a gift not shared by Hubbs, who regularly says the opposite). We joke that I can visualize the finished look, while Hubbs can only visualize it when it's about 95% done.
I decided it might be fun to share a few items that have made it into our own home—for now, anyway. Don't be afraid to take a chance, mix and match, and choose what you love.
See you out there Picking!
